The grapes coming from Quinta da Pacheca Touriga Nacional vineyard, after a careful selection were taken to the winery in plastic boxes. The grapes were completely destemed and slightly crushed.
After this the must was transferred to the stone tanks (lagares) were the grapes were foot trodden and fermented for 10 days.
After the malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats the wine was racked into new French oak barrels for 14 months.
